Despite being the top boyband in Korea, Super Junior displayed their friendliness and closeness during the Press Conference. No matter what questions were asked to them, they are able to bring up/mentioned about the Phone that they endorse. They are truly the most dedicated artists the media has ever seen! When asked about the charm in their new album, Super Junior even showed the dance of Bonamana live! SUJU takes 3rd min on TV Music program

Korean male idols Super Junior continued their reign atop a televised music program over the weekend. The group collected their third consecutive win on KBS’ music show “Music Bank” with their title track “BONAMANA” from their fourth studio release of the same name, up against “2 Different Tears” by the Wonder Girls. The boy band thanked their agency SM Entertainment in their acceptance speech while for their encore performance, they changed the word “BONAMANA” in their song to “Kyuhyun” who had been unable to perform on the show due to undergoing surgery for a middle-ear infection last week. Other performances on the show included those by Monday Kiz, SS501, 8eight, and T.MAX. The boys have been enjoying a successful comeback with their new album “BONAMANA” released on May 13 and are currently preparing for their third Asia Tour “SUPER SHOW 3″ which will begin in mid-August. Meanwhile, a special documentary featuring the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Korea aired instead of SBS’ weekend program “Inkigayo” to commemorate the country’s Memorial Day.

Super Junior makes a whirlwind stopover in Singapore

Boyband Super Junior clocked in the shortest stopover ever made by a Korean group in Singapore

What happens when you’re the largest reigning boyband in Korea with 13 whooping members on a really tight schedule? You make history for having the shortest stopover in Singapore for half-a-day (yes, you got that right, half-a-day), and jet home to Korea immediately after the showcase is over.

One of Korea’s hottest boybands, Super Junior, was in town yesterday to promote SingTel’s launch of Samsung’s GALAXY S mobile phone, the first operator in the world to launch the phone. The entourage of nine members which consisted of Lee Teuk, Si Won, Hee Chul, Ye Sung, Shin Dong, Sung Min, Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, and Ryeo Wook, arrived in Singapore on Sunday afternoon to the delight of both local and overseas fans. The boys and their entourage opted for the exclusive VIP passageway instead of making a splashy entrance at the arrival halls of Changi Airport, depriving fans of the chance to catch a glimpse of them.

The boys made a quickie appearance later at the press conference and captured the hearts of 2,000 fans with a mini music showcase later in the night at Marina Bay Sands’ expo center — before catching a return flight to Korea — on the very same day. It was a highly-exclusive event and access to the event was only through one of the 800 passes distributed with the purchase of the Samsung GALAXY S phone from SingTel.

Looking sleek and stylish in their all-black attires from their latest music single, Bonamana, the all-star group’s entrance at the press conference sparked off a wave of frenzied flashbulbs, earmarked by raucous cheering and deafening screams throughout the room.

And that wasn’t the end of it, folks. Everyone wanted to snag a piece of the elusive boys and Super Junior’s star-studded presence sparked off a media circus with many even resorting to standing on chairs during the photocall session, clamouring for a good shot of the group.

After the earlier commotion fizzled out, the band members who are also active users of social media platforms like Twitter and Cyworld, gave a well-informed introduction of the phone’s various functions and complimented the GALAXY S for its “very light and cool design.”

Through the help of a translator, the boys were quizzed on their “secret” behind their leading position in the country. As leader of the band, Lee Teuk spoke up and replied that it all boils down to passion, “Our secret is that all members are very passionate.”
In response to the leader’s statement, an enthusiastic Eun Hyuk, the group’s lead rapper and dancer, proceeded to put on a short dance number from ‘Bonamana’ — which he felt, was a good representation of what “passion onstage” means to Super Junior.

As mega stars with a public image to protect, the boys are unperturbed about their celebrity statuses and forthrightly shared that they are “not afraid or scared to do everything” on Korean variety shows.
In fact, they self-depreciatingly mocked themselves for having done “almost everything” even to the extent of disguising themselves as women.
“We seem to have done too much. Sometimes we even joke amongst ourselves of plans to make our own variety show.
“We even splash each other with water! Google for us on youtube and you can watch it later,” chuckled the media-savvy Shin Dong, who was visibly enraptured by the phone like a kid in a candy store. Sporting a little moustache, he fiddled around with the phone’s voice-recording functions and amused both the press and his fellow mates with the playback function of his recorded clip.

Despite their tight schedule in Singapore, the happy troopers reassured that they “aren’t tired at all” and are instead feeling “excited and happy to be present at the launch show.”
As this marks their first official visit to Singapore, the boys explained that they haven’t had the time to explore the island and proclaimed that they would love to visit again. To sum it up in the words of their cheeky leader Lee Teuk, “Ask or call us. We’ll be happy to come back again!”

Super Junior drives crowd wild at music showcase

The nine members of Korean boyband Super Junior ain’t ‘Sorry Sorry’ about their short stopover in Singapore as they ‘Bonamana’-ed their way into the hearts of 2,000 squealing fans last night

If you haven’t already heard, one of Korea’s hottest boybands, Super Junior, was in town yesterday — albeit for a very short span of time. In half-a-day, the boys attended a press conference to promote SingTel’s launch of the Samsung GALAXY S mobile phone, and shimmied to a hall of 2,000 enraptured fans at Marina Bay Sands, right before catching a homebound flight to Korea.

Originally a 13-member group, only nine (Lee Teuk, Si Won, Hee Chul, Ye Sung, Shin Dong, Sun Min, Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, and Ryeo Wook) were present last night. Despite the scaled-down numbers, the boys opened the show with a rousing and heart-thumping performance to their latest hit song, ‘Bonamana’, from their fourth and latest hit music album, Bonamana.

The screams from the crowd went up by a few decibels when the boys took a breather and promptly introduced themselves to exhilarated fans. After they thanked ardent fans for their “love and support”, Ye Sung took center stage with his melancholic solo performance of ‘It Has To Be You’, a track from the recent Korean drama series, Cinderella’s Sister.

Super Junior-T, a subgroup which consists of Shin Dong, Lee Teuk, Ye Sung, Sung Ming, Eun Hyuk, and Hee Chul, came on next with their trot-o-licious performance of ‘Rokuko’, a traditional style of music infused with modern beats.

Love and euphoria filled the air when leader Lee Teuk cried out, “Thank you for the very warm welcome. This is my first time in Singapore!” and Si Won thrilled the fangirls with his love declaration in perfectly-punctuated English, “It’s very sweet. I love you! I’m very impressed!”

Before they concluded the night with their mega hit song ‘Sorry Sorry’, a birthday cake was wheeled out to commemorate Ryeo Wook’s upcoming 23rd birthday on June 21. Fans unanimously broke out in Happy Birthday tunes in both English and Korean as the boys let loose onstage and playfully streaked each other’s faces with icing.

The birthday boy made a wish and shared his hopes of returning to our sunny shores for a fan-meeting session and a concert in the near future. That’s one wish we know thousands of fans would want come true.

Super Junior's visit to Singapore

Hi! I will be doing a fan account so you guys know what happened during sj's visit to Singapore ! Ok so.....

Just for your information, there are 2 places that elfs went before they arrive in sg.. One is the. showcase venue which is a newly built building where the casino, hotel and shopping centre are. The second one is the airport. My schedule for the day was to follow them so in other words, STALK. ^heehee I arrived at the airport at 11 and there were around 100 elfs there scattered around the place. My friend told me that she went to the showcase venue at 8 am and the queue was almost 3/4 full!! I believe they camped there.... Hahhaa. Anyway, we sg elfs all knew that our boys will be coming out from the VIP secret passage way but still, many came to try their luck. Honestly, I'm quite touched because their chances to see sj was 5%..... More elfs started coming and they were at least 500 elfs there.( do not be surprised by the small no. Because I believe the airport will be packed full by elfs if they were coming out from the front) i left quickly as soon as we know that sj had arrived and because we were in a van, we were able to wait at the gate of the VIP exit. Do not be surprised or scared but there were at least 15- 20 vans waiting for them . There were also 50 over fans waiting there( I do not know how they manage to walk there!) finally, SJ came out and there was a massive 'traffic jam' there because of the vans. Everybody wanted to catch a glimpse of SJ, which was obvious. I didn't manage to see any of them because their curtain was closed. ( a funny fact: many cars were trapped in b/w mountains, which was all the vans hahhah. They had no idea what was going on, some even thought we were the security vans, protecting some VIP ) Siwon pulled the curtain and he was wearing a cap and fedora?? shirt. Awesome! Someone saw a guy tying his hair which we guess was Minnie or shindong.

Soon, they entered the showcase carpark. I went into the mall and I saw this long queue of elfs( those going for showcase) and the mall was practically filled with elfs. We went to another side and there was a big screen playing bonamana, sorry sorry , neorago and suju's message for Singapore. There were big blocks of letters ' SUPER JUNIOR' I believe they are the ones in music bank during the sorry sorry period. All the fans were crowding there hoping to see them. I waited there from 3 o clock till 6 o clock because they said super junior was going to come out from there. In the end after 3 hours of waiting, we got chased away by the security. The elfs who are going for the showcase ran in after they were let in( over excitement). We were really hungry because we didn't eat the whole day so we went to eat. The showcase was suppose to end at 10 o clock but all of a sudden, we received phone calls at 8.40 from our friends that the showcase was over. We rushed back to the venue and yes, the elfs already came out. We waited for some time and Sj bus finally came out and I saw a guy filming inside. I guess it's y star or tvn?? They were filming us instead of them. We really hope they will stop by any restaurant to eat since it ended early than expected. To our disappointment, they went straight to the airport. I finally managed to catch a glimpse of eunhyuk........'s hat. -.-

Eunhyuk was really tired and he was sleeping at the back of the bus. Hae was sitting in front of him.!!
We reached the airport and we saw sj's bus entering the VIP way and there goes sj......byeeeeeee.
Many people cried because like after 5 years, we saw them. There were many elfs who didn't go to any of the venue because they know they won't see them so..... This visit doesn't really make a difference. But to those who saw them, they can die with no regrets :))

I heard from my friends that eunhyuk touched hae's hair during the showcase and heechul slapped shindong's butt? Hahaha . Normally hae will give lots of fan service
but he was quite still today . Heechul was in a bad mood because of the antis msg to his phone. Teuk was smiling all the way as expected !! They celebrated wookie's birthday and they smeared the cream on his face!!! Teukie pick the confetti on the floor and threw it on wook's head.By the way, they sang 5 songs. Bonamana. Sorry sorry , rokugo , yesung' s ost solo and the last one I'm not sure.

All in all, I was super disappointed because I spent money to chase and I didn't catch a glimpse of anyone of them..... Haiz.....ohoh! I remember seeing china
fans there and they were from elfish, donghae's baidu bar.
