A delicious looking customised 'Bonamana' cake?

Shindong tweeted a few hours ago with a picture showing a beautiful, delicious-looking cake! As you can see, the cake has a beautiful box cover and of course, with the customised cake!

How wonderful is it to be a super idol? Hmph, makes me want to be a celebrity too.I guess the cake was given as a gift to them by the fans, maybe to eat while watching the world cup? Just a wild guess but i believe the members must be really happy when they eat such a beautiful cake.

Super Junior Kim HeeChul watches adult videos?

Recently on SBS PowerFM Kim HeeChul’s YoungStreet, guest appearances were IU and Defconn. And they revealed a concept photo taken together. In the description, Kim HeeChul was supposed to be looking adult videos on his phone, and IU and Defconn pulled a shocked expression.

Netizens who saw the photo commented, “I thought he was really watching it”, “How old is Kim HeeChul”, “IU is looking at HeeChul, IU!” etc.

Recently, on Heechul's radio show Youngstreet, IU was a guest and photo's from her guesting has been gaining a lot of attention among netizens. A photo was uploaded at the youngstreet gallery which showed IU and Heechul fooling around and also IU doing the "Water prank" on Heechul as he sleeps on his chair but the water bottle has it's lid on.

Netizens commented on the picture, "Kim Heechul looks more beautiful", "IU's whiter skin is really pretty", "They are just so cute".

Meanwhile, IU's collaboration with 2am Seulong "Nagging" has been gaining a lot of attention lately.

SUPER JUNIOR hits U.S?

And they better thank the World Cup craze!

Among all the 2010 FIFA World Cup songs that K-Pop stars produced to support the Taeguk Warriors, looks like Super Junior’s Victory Korea caught the attention of the international scene, landing a spot for the ESPN.com’s top 11 World Cup-inspired songs.

So far, Super Junior’s song is leading the vote with a whooping 66.9% out of 774 votes, beating the official World Cup song – Shakira’s Waka Waka, among others! And that number increases by the minute!

As a quick reminder, Victory Korea was performed by five out of thirteen Super Junior members - Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin and Eunhyuk. The song is also an OST of  the film, Dreams Come True, a story of North and South Korean soldiers coming together for the World Cup.

Moreover, for those who do not know, ESPN stands for Entertainment Sports Programming Network. It is an American cable channel featuring sports-related activities and is really huge not just in America but across the world.

So, if you want to vote for Super Junior or the other World Cup-inspired songs, you can do so here.  Meanwhile, South Korea will go face to face with Greece today at 8:30 p.m. KST. Can we wave our red flags and say oh le oh, oh oh le oh, victory Korea?

Heechul feels safe and sleeps with shindong after the end of refreshing game?

Super Junior sungmin has uploaded some pictures just a moment ago and it has attracted many people's attention.

In the morning, Heechul and some members announced that the refreshing game that has been going on for 10 days officially ends with the last victim, Shindong.
As you can see from the picture above, Shindong continues to sleep on the wet sofa after being splashed by water. I guess he is really tired.



And in this picture, you can see that Shindong has changed into another tee and
this time round, sleeping with Heechul. Heechul has the ' i can sleep with no worries' expression'. I think he must be really happy that the game is finally over.

The Super Junior members are getting cheekier day by day, am i right?

Leeteuk and Shindong to be special MCs for Inkigayo Special

Super Junior's schedule was updated on the official SM website recently and it was announced that Super Junior's Eeteuk and Shindong will be the special MCs for the Inkigayo special on the 13th of June.

Leeteuk was known to have lots of experience in hosting which includes 'Star King' and having a corner on 'Strong Heart' while Shindong was known for being the MC of 'Bbo Bbo Bbo'. Both of them are experienced MCs and because of this, netizens are looking forward to their great MC-ing skills and how they will bring up the whole world cup atmosphere.

Some of them gave positive comments such as 'they are really good MCs. can't wait to watch for tomorrow's inkigayo special'. With bad incidents such as the 'Shanghai World Expo stampede' incident, some fans started disliking Super Junior.
Well, lets hope that both of them will be able to help Super Junior gain back their

Super Junior performed 100%

The first impression that Korea’s super group Super Junior left for the Singaporean media yesterday was: friendly and fun. Their funny behaviors make them very suitable as promoters.


Super Junior arrived in Singapore yesterday to promote Samsung’s new handphone model, hold a press conference and a private concert. The members who came were leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon and Ryeowook. Kyuhyun just had his ear surgery done, so he could not come.


Super Junior held their press conference in Marina Bay Sands in the afternoon. Although it was only 15 minutes, they showed the press how lively and natural they were.


When asked how they can stand firm and survive in Korea’s competitive music industry, Leeteuk answered, “The secret is to have a lot of passion for singing and dancing”.


After saying that, he asked Eunhyuk to demonstrate what is called passion. Eunhyuk danced a short part of “Bonamana”, winning a round of applause.


After Leeteuk finished answering, there was a sudden clapping sound, and then the media were dumbfounded. It turns out that Shindong was playing the “applause” sound in the phone.

2000 people celebrated Ryeowook’s birthday


The showcase, which was planned to be held at 7.30 pm, was delayed by 25 minutes. The moment Super Junior entered the stage, the atmosphere could only be described by one word—deafening.

The event organizers cleverly wiped his nose, and asked fans if they want to eat this “precious” piece of cake, arousing fans to scream wildly “YES!”


Towards the end of the performance, the members became more and more “high”*, Leeteuk even jumped off the stage, making fans go crazy. Siwon even moved the off-stage camera to the stage, making the crowd excited.

Chinese fans spend over 4 million $ on SJ’s 4th album

Fans of the Korean group Super Junior have spent almost 170 million won altogether(about 480,000 ringgit) to buy their idol’s albums. They then posted the receipts of their purchases online, causing a heated discussion among Korean netizens.

According to Korea’s newspaper “Korea Daily* “, a Chinese fan posted pictures of the receipts online as “evidence”, showing the huge number of albums they have bought. The record of the receipts showed 8100 copies of version A were sold on 13th May and 5100 copies of version B of the 4th album were sold on 20th May. The total cost of version A and B was 101,250,000 won and 66,250,000 won respectively. In total, 170++ million won was spent on purchasing their idol’s albums.

Regarding Chinese fan’s lavishness, Korean Netizens have shown great reaction, some saying “the power of a big country(China) is sure different” and “China fans are so great”, “very cool indeed” etc. Some Korean fans also say “The passion of Chinese fans is really great, but it seems like the concert tickets in China are very expensive, Korea is still the best.”

“Im a grandmother?”, Yoona punishes Heechul for his outburst

SNSD’s Yoona was outraged at Kim Heechul’s grandmother outburst. In June 6th’s episode of SBS’s “Family Outing 2″, Yoona was humiliated by not being chosen during the first decision during the on-the-spot pairing with the Wonder Girls. Yoona believed that she would be chosen by Taecyeon, but Taecyeon chose Wonder Girls’ Yubin unexpectedly. When Yoona could not hide her disappointment, Super Junior’s Kim Heechul teased, “Yoona is Korea’s most beautiful grandmother.” Yoona’s expression changed and pretended to do a knee kick towards Kim Heechul and made everyone laugh. Super Junior at YES Magazine

After last year's album , and a 1 year and 2 months wait, ELFs have finally anticipated for Super Junior (SJ)'s 4th album (Miinah). After the new album was out for 2 weeks, album sales have already broken the 100,000 record and 200,000 pre-orders, for singers, this is an impressive number. Introducing the genre [Super Junior Funky] for SJ, the single [BONAMANA], after being out for a week already snagged 1st in Music program rankings, the special "skating" choreography has already caused quite the craze, and certainly does not lose to [SORRY,SORRY]! Apart from the addictive kyrics that have brainwashed the fans, the members have also spent a lot of time to suit the theme of "Miinah". The biggest sell point, definitely is the members on the dancefloor, to emit their "flower boy" temperament.

[Waking up in the middle of the night to work out]
From the bottom half of 2009 to the beginning of 2010, SJ was so busy with their second concert tour, that the time they were on the plane was more than the time spent on land. At the same time, members also appeared in dramas and variety shows, they were so busy they nearly couldn't sleep. But for this new album, SJ members that they had prepared unlimited surprises. At this time, apart from practicing their new song, they also secretly followed Siwon who has the best body, to work out, becoming "Beast" idols! This time Siwon decided to lie low and let the 3 take the spotlight.

[Doing excellent while performing]
Think that after releasing their album and showing their bodies, thats it? It's not as easy as that! After releasing the album on the 13th, SJ appeared on with a Come Back status and immediately became the nation's hot topic. Although SJ also has a 'black' concept, their outfits are especially different compared to other groups. Other groups always wear the same clothes, and when Sj performs 3 days in a row, they wear really different outfits 3 days in a row. Going down the same 'dark' path, their clothes are still more elegant than others. In 3 of their comeback performances they were wearing were from the famous Korean fashion show of 2010, emphasising the boys' trendy image. Waiting one whole year for their comeback, at live shows Fanservice is a must! Apart from Leeteuk's 'vacuum' costume (topless) and Donghae's Deep V Tee, there's also Eunhyuk's solo where he lifts his shirt up, causing fans to scream like hell

[More stylish for magazines]
The SJ flower boys have already dominated singing, movies and dramas, but for this time's , they had a photoshoot done for magazine again with their new concept! The series of photos with eyecatching makeup and hairstyles. Apart from every member having different hairstyles and colours, Donghae and Heechul's hairstyles have become the talk of the readers. Leeteuk and Eunhyuk who is responsible for showing their abs again, show their masculine charms. Sj has captured the hearts of young girls and they are expected to also capture the hearts of old ladies (?).

[More beautiful than Beauties]
As mentioned before, recently many kpop idols have signed up on twitter and they update even more often than Cantopop idols. It started off with Shindong who joined first and like a flu it passed on to the other members. The member who loves uploading pretty pictures the most --- Heechul! Everytime he meets female idols from the same company, the photos of them would always end up on his twitter. The surprising thing is, Heechul the "beauty", competes with female idols. Netizens mostly say that Heechul is "even prettier than female idols" to show their admiration towards his beauty!

[Couple fantasies]
For friends who pay attention to kpop idols, many male idol groups have pairing relationships. Because there are many people in SJ, the couples in Sj outnumber the ones in other idol groups. The couples in SJ include, KangTeuk, HanChul, EunHae, YeWook, KyuMin and SiBum. Now that HanGeng, Kangin and Kibum are excluded from the 4th album activities, all of the coupling attention is on Eunhyuk and Donghae. For the fans, as the album was out, they uploaded many "loving" photos of themselves, causing fantasies from fans to bloom. Now that is out, fans would call Heechul and Donghae their "Miinahs"!

[Touching fan meeting]
In 2009, you could say that SJ had been through many ups and downs. Although had brought them limitless reputation, Kangin and Hangeng's incidents had caused SJ to be emotionally down. To go with the 4th album, SJ specially held 2 fan meetings for faithful fans. The members also prepared interesting performances and games to play with the fans. But just when Kangin suddenly appeared in between the event. the originally happy atmosphere immediately took a 180 degree turn. When Kangin announced that he would be enlisted in July, the fan's emotions were down, and cries were heard from the crowd. Seeing his own fans crying for him, Kangin couldn't hold on to his tears and neither could the other members. Heechul had cried so hard he needed to hide backstage. Although some members could not participate in 4th album activities, everybody should feel SJ's deep love and appreciation towards their fans.

[Attacking overseas for the 2nd half of the year?]
Rumours say that after the wild success of and the performance at the Shanghaei world expo on May 30th, and then news say that they will be in Singapore to hold a fan meeting! Other sources say that there is a chance that SJM members will be in Taiwan for a music awards ceremony. As Koreans are very attentive towards the World Cup, before it started, SJ invited everyone to sing to cheer everybody on. In August, subgroup KRY along with Donghae and Sungmin will be in Japan for a concert. After that, the rumoured "Super Show 3" would unfold. If these rumours are true, 2010 will be Super Junior's!

World Cup Star Concert cancelled due to safety concerns

In celebration for the 2010 World Cup, the "Star Concert" was organized to take place on the 12th of June that will be holding 16 performances from various top idols including Super Junior, CNBlue, 4minute, SHINee, Ivy, 2am and BEAST but it has been announced that the concert has been cancelled.

An official of the organizers said on the 12th, "The Star Concert which was supposed to be held in Jeonju has been cancelled due to safety concerns".

The official continued, "We have posted a notice on 11 am KST also notifying those who purchased tickets for the concert".
